Being so young, I have taught myself everything that I know about art, since I don't attend university yet. My skills are still at a beginner's level and one day I hope to improve my skills.
I aim to practice with different materials or media to find my own style. So far, I have used wax crayons, felt tip pens, pencils, coloring pencils, graphic markers, watercolor, acrylic paints and biro.Hopefully, I get to try using oil paints, gauche, oil pastels or chalk, ink and a lot more.
There's nothing fancy about the name of this blog. I wish I could change it, if only I knew what to replace it with.
LOVEtHEART was supposed to sound smart. The idea came to me when I was typing up my About Me section a few years ago. It always said somewhere in the lines of 'I love art, drawing etc...' LoveArt was my first option, but it didn't sound right. The more I said 'LoveArt' the more it started to sound like 'LoveHeart' which coincidentally had the word 'art' in 'heart'. I didn't want to use love heart as a name since it wouldn't seem original. By adding the letter 't' between the two words, I created my phrase that I use for everything I do that involves my art. love.the.art
LOVEtHEART is a documentation in writing and photos of my progress throughout the years. I try to find my own style of drawing. The series of posts in the blog will be different from each other as my drawing style evolves into something I can call my own. By scrolling through the screen, you can peak into my small world of art and the different things that I like, that gets me inspired, and everything else that just says something about me.
