Commission Piece #1

A month ago or so, I got someone to ask me to do a commission piece for them. it's not fashion Illustration related but I really liked the outcome of this commission. It's not actually the first one that I did.. I have one who asked me three times to do fashion illustrations for him. but I decided to put this up because I just want to let you know that my commissions are widely open XD

Really bad photography skills! -_-" This is one of the two pieces he asked for me to do. It's him in KISS makeup and he wanted me to paint it like it was one of the solo albums. I'd say I did an alright job considering my acrylic painting experience is like beginner's. I haven't painted in so long.. and before when I did paint.. i didn't paint that much.. so I'm proud of this one :]

 This is the second piece he asked me to do. It's the same picture but done in pencil. I am also proud of this one because not only have i almost no experience of painting with acrylics, but I am also lacking practice with pencil drawings.. specially realistic portraits. so this one turned out to be good, for me :]

 Just a secret. I was rushing to take pictures of these because it was going to be shipped out the same day, so I had my uniform on in the morning and just added a gold necklace so it wouldn't be too obvious XD

The Hunger Games Obsession

I was first introduced to the books by my brother who basically is updated with everything that's happening and he tells me what he knows. I haven't finished reading the three books. The Hunger Games I've read three times I guess.. the third time, I just read my favorite parts. So I watched the movie with my the day it came out here in Melbourne and I love it just like how I love the book. I'm reading Catching Fire right now and I am loving it as well. I've spoiled myself with the story already before even reading the books because I was so obsessed. I already know what's basically going to happen, but I'm still reading and loving the books :]
Of course my obsession will not be complete if I do not draw one of the characters in the movie.. Effie Trinket.

Effie is one of my favourtie characters. Her personality, the way she dresses and her vain is what makes her such an awesome character to love and hate at the same time. if that makes sense.. basically, she's AWESOME!

I used pink biro (ballpoint pen) for this drawing because lately, I've been into drawing with biro. Plus, my Touch Markers have officially died. I tried using them days ago and it was hopeless. I still haven't had the courage to spend hundreds of dollars on Copic Markers.. People say it's a great investment, but I'm still having doubts even though I know myself, that I want it badly.

I also like Peeta Mellark. He is my absolute favourite character <3 and Haymitch. I love Haymitch. At first I didn't quite like him, but he grew on me.

It's really bad lighting since daylight lighting makes everything somehow blue. I did not put blue filters on these pictures or whatsoever, but these photos don't give justice to the color of the paper and the pink color of the pen and ink. 

And also, what obsession would be complete without the Mockingjay Pin.

I tried to capture the detail of the pin that I saw on Google images and I quite like how my replica has turned out. I used Polymer clay to make this and painted it gold and black to give it an antique effect.

Inking

My least favourite part of every drawing used to be inking.. but lately, I've been loving to just ink a drawing and not colour it in. Well.. this would never happen if I didn't run out of my Touch Markers (I didn't really run out) i think I have 24(?) colours and they're mostly just the earth tones.. and that sucks.. :( finally after months of using the same colours over and over, I decided I'm not going to use my Touch Markers again (also my flesh tones don't colour in properly anymore!!! D:) so I made a lot of drawings where I only just did the inking on them and I have to say, I am pretty proud of myself :]

So these two drawings are just the ones that I have really done in my special paper XP I coloured these two in using Photoshop CS3 and posted them on deviantart account.. which I am also posting here :D

HEY THERE! It's been ages since I last posted here.. but I got something new I worked on. I was in the mood for fashion photography and watercolour, so I decided to draw this.. I came across a picture on Google and it was the perfect picture to draw for me.. but I didn't copy the picture. I made it my version and I think it turned out better than I expected. I used cheap (like really cheap quality) watercolour, so I was disappointed as I was starting with my painting. And then I finished! here it is..

I edited it in Instagram so this is not the original. Although I liked this better than the original XD

High School Never Ends

I feel like that song really is true. I just want high school to end, get into college or Uni and hope it's more worthwhile. ahahha >_< no way. My life's not some cliche teenage movie where I hate high school. I love high school.. School on the other hand (with teachers and subjects) it digs my head in -__-" SOO in honor of my amazing high school life [INSERT EVIL LAUGH] I have made this fashion illustration.

Taylor Swift- Mean (Fashion Illustration)

I LOVE HER NEW ALBUM! actually I love all of her albums. this song is one of the amazing songs she writes and the meaning of her album with the song is.. WOW! when I read it, i was blown away!!
Anyway.. I have just bought some new markers cause the store went on sale and I bought tons! I wasted all my first salary on art materials! (shh!!) so i made these pieces because what she wore on the video I also fell in love with! (gosh I should stop using exclamation marks -_-')

This was the first outfit in the video. It's made out some king of cream coloured lace material over sheer fabric then lace again and back to shear. So i am guessing it is kind of like a layered dress. I can really describe it but it looked good. that's for sure!

This is the second outfit she wore just after singing the chorus where she was on the train tracks and her arms were tied by some dude with a top hat. This is also the outfit she wore for the cover of the song which I think is seen in the CD's. This is my favourite out of the three she wore. I've always wanted to sew this kind of dress ages ago. This was the a very similar design which if from my Wonderland Collection.

it is very bizarre how similar the outfits look. The same colours were used. The white flower on the head. EVEN THE HAIR! who knew I coloured the design blonde!!! O_o

This was supposed to be the third outfit. but instead I just drew her face. her makeup was really bold with the dark eyeliners with false lashes (I believe) and the bright red lipstick. I'm not a fan but she looked beautiful!! she wore this shiny fringe dress which I think she loves it. I mean I would also twirl around a million times if I wore the dress. AND HERE IS THE FINAL PIECE PUT TOGETHER!

no one probably noticed this but MY SIGNATURE CHANGED! it's still the same but I juts made it fancier XD

The Sweetest Collection

This collection has been on hold for  few months now because I got so lazy to scan the images and stuff. So I have made  video of myself drawing the very first look for the collection.

So my inspiration for the collection is chocolate. Brown and Khaki are making a real big hit on fashion. So I decided to make this collection. I was aiming to make a 10 outfit mini collection but I got really lazy and ran out of markers, broke so I couldn't buy more.  = ="

 I just edited the pictures together because some did not scan properly. XD
